Canvasea Return Policy

General Return Policy

We offer a 14-day return policy. You have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

We do not accept returns on sale items or gift cards. If you have questions or concerns about a specific item, please get in touch with us.

 

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must: 

  • Be in the same condition that you received it
  • Be unworn or unused
  • Have tags attached
  • Be in its original packaging
  • Include the receipt or proof of purchase

 

Return Process

  • Contact Us: To initiate a return, email us at orders@canvasea.ca with subject line – Request for Return Order [Number] and in the email please include
    • Your detail contact information
    • Order number
    • The receipt or proof of purchase
    • Purchased item
    • Photos from all angles and/or a video of the item when requesting a return
  • Return Authorization: Items sent back without prior return authorization will not be accepted. If your return is approved, you will receive a return instructions document on how and where to send your package.
  • Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped, item arrived damaged). Including a tracking number with your return is encouraged to ensure the package is properly tracked and received.


Restocking Fee Policy

We charge a restocking fee of 25% on returned items to cover the costs associated with processing returns and restocking inventory. This fee is deducted from your refund amount. If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped, item arrived damaged), the restocking fee will be waived.

Damages and Issues

 Inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if:

  • The item is defective
  • The item is damaged
  • You received the wrong item

We will evaluate the issue and work to make it right.

 

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items 

  • Certain items cannot be returned, including: 
  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, plants)
  • Custom products (e.g., special orders, personalized items)
  • Made to order products
  • Personal care goods (e.g., beauty products)
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

 

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the item you have and make a separate purchase for the new item once the return is accepted.

 

European Union 14-day Cooling Off Period

If your merchandise is being shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason and without justification. Items must be in the same condition that you received them, unworn or unused, with tags, and in the original packaging. You will need the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
